David Kobakhidze is a graduate of Secondary School #102 in Tbilisi. He continued his studies at the Faculty of Journalism at Tbilisi Humanities and Arts Academy, and was awarded the qualification of Journalist-Art Historian and a master’s degree.

David Kobakhidze has completed the study course “Public Relations Practice and Roles” at New York University (NYU) in the USA; the study course “Community Services for the Elderly” of the Golda Meir Training Center at the Ministry of Education of Israel; a certificate-awarding course in marketing at the Business School of the Special Commercial Institution of Tbilisi organized by Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) and the Economic Union of Georgia.

David Kobakhidze has held responsible positions, such as: Head of the Strategic Communication Division at the LEPL – National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE); Public Relations Coordinator for a program supporting the development of VET qualifications at the LEPL - National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE); Head of the Public Relations and Events Division at the LEPL – Agency for State Care under the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

David Kobakhidze has organized important events, such as: telethons for children in need of care, the elderly and the disabled, and for their social integration; national and international professional skills competitions by WORLDSKILLS Georgia – a project of the LEPL - National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE), the goal of which is to popularize VET in Georgia, share international experience, approximate to international standards and identify young talents.
