ENQA Confirms the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement’s Fully Compliant with the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG).
According to the external review report of the international review panel of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the decision of the ENQA Agency Review Committee (ARC) adopted on 30 June 2026, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) and the quality assurance mechanisms for higher education implemented in Georgia have been confirmed as fully compliant with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015).
The external review report and the ENQA ARC’s decision will shortly be submitted to the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) to restore NCEQE's registration retroactively from the date on which its registration had been suspended.
In 2025, as part of the process of restoring its registration in EQAR, NCEQE applied to ENQA and requested a targeted (partial) review. The international review panel conducted a site visit to the NCEQE on 9–11 February 2026.
Further information on the review process and its outcomes is available on the ENQA website: https://lnkd.in/dFR3RTHX
