The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement Hosts Representatives of the World Health Organization

Ketevan Kobakhidze, Deputy Director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, held a meeting with the representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO).


During the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of harmonizing nursing education across the vocational and higher education levels, as well as the challenges encountered in the development and implemention of nursing education programmes.  


The World Health Organization experts emphasized the importance of revising the sectoral benchmarks for higher education and the standards for vocational education in nursing, expressing their willingness to actively cooperate and provid relevant recommendations.  


The meeting was attended by representatives from the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement’s departments of Higher Education Quality Assurance, Vocational Education Quality Assurance, Qualifications Development, and Planning, Research, and International Relations.
