A cooperation agreement has been signed between LEPL National Center for Education Quality Enhancement and the international organization COGNIA of the United States of America, which provides for the recognition of general education programmes implemented on the territory of Georgia - the American International Accreditation Protocol.
COGNIA's goal is to ensure the delivery of international general education programmes in Georgia. To achieve this goal, COGNIA has developed and implemented internationally recognized general education programmes that cover all three levels of general education as outlined by Georgian legislation.
It is important that the qualification document - diploma - issued upon completion of the COGNIA programme will be recognized as equivalent to a certificate of complete general education in Georgia. A person with this document will be provided with the opportunity to continue their studies at higher education institutions in Georgia.
It is noteworthy that the signatories to the agreement operate with common principles and values, including universal access to education, continuous development of educational quality, equality, and the steadfast protection of the rights of the school community.
