In support of higher education institutions, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement has determined preferential topics and planned relevant training modules:

 

· Internal quality assurance mechanisms' compatibility to ESG 2015 - 2 sessions, November 24 and 25;
 

· Student's role in internal quality assurance - 3 sessions, December 1,2 and 3;
 

· Self-evaluation within program accreditation and internal quality assurance - 3 sessions, December 7, 8 and 9;
 

· Development of a strategic plan for internationalization - 4 sessions, 2 sessions for top-level-managers in December 14 and 15 and 2 sessions for middle-level managers in December 17 and 18.

 

The NCEQE has determined preferential topics based on feedback from the institutions. Based on the present situation, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, training sessions will be held online, via the Zoom platform.
 

The first three training modules will be carried out by the representatives of the higher education quality assurance department, the NCEQE. The session on strategic planning will be hosted by Vangelis Tsiligkiris. Vangelis has 18 years’ experience in leadership roles in higher education, including research, teaching, and departmental line management. Alongside his leadership, research, and teaching experience, he has broad experience in the internationalization of higher education and particularly in transnational education collaborations and is a holder of a PhD in cross-border higher education management from Birmingham City University. Vangelis if a founder of platform TNE-Hub (https://www.tnehub.org/), which allows researchers and professionals from 25 different countries exchange experiences regarding transnational education.
